When you walk into florist Ted & Anna’s space, you’ll be greeted by friendly welcomes and colors of flora and fauna which are not commonly found elsewhere. Their brazen choice to carry flowers with fascinating tones such as cappuccino, faded pinks and dusty purples has paid off, making them a favorite among many hip clients in HCMC. We are excited to have these ethical and visual do-gooders share with us their creation for 𝙈𝘼𝙍𝙆 𝙔𝙊𝙐𝙍 𝙒𝘼𝙇𝙇 inspired by Color Palette #02. Read more about them and their social contributions here:
Hey guys, tell us a bit about Ted & Anna.
Ted & Anna is founded with a vision to bring high-quality flowers & services to customers at an affordable price. At the same time, we’d like to raise awareness through our eco-friendly daily practices such as using kraft & water-color papers for wrapping instead of plastic papers, limiting the use of foam by introducing no-floral foam vase arrangements.
It is also our commitment to give back to the community by donating a small part of our profits to local charities. It’s been an absolute honor for us to be with Saigon Children, Nhà Chống Lũ, and Pacific Links Foundation over the past 3 years.
Thanks for collaborating with us on the color palette project! What triggered you when you saw 𝙈𝘼𝙍𝙆 𝙔𝙊𝙐𝙍 𝙒𝘼𝙇𝙇 Color Palette #02?
The first thought that came to mind when I saw the color combo of the palette is “Wow, this is hard.” There are not that many options for flowers in these tones. It feels a bit cold, dark, yet beautiful and shining in its own way.
Well you did a great job! Could you tell us a little bit about the flowers that you chose?
I picked Manta Roses, Privet Berries, Queen Anne Lace, Veronica, Nerine, Carnation, Stock, and Lisianthus for this project. The overall bouquet gives off a strong, cold and dark winter look, yet the petals feel so beautiful and soft at the touch of your fingers. Just like what we went through because of Covid-19: cold and dark, but we’ll come out of it stronger, and more beautiful than ever.
Lovely! Thank you so much for taking time off your crazy schedule to collaborate on this project with us <3
